A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.
Usage limits & fair use
One simple plan, with enough room for everyday feedback. These limits help us keep Heedlane comfortable and affordable for everyone.
We're getting these details ready for launch. This is a testing draft until our operator and contact details are complete.
The people behind Heedlane
Heedlane is provided by Heedlane. Need a hand, have a privacy question, or spotted a billing mistake? We're an email away.
Room for everyday listening
Your plan includes one board, your whole team, ideas, votes, conversations, a public roadmap, your branding, and customer status emails. No counting seats. Both billing periods include the same features.
A quieter inbox, a simpler price
Each workspace includes 1,000 customer update emails per calendar month. We group status changes and send at most one update per idea to each follower in a day. Replies stay in the app. Essential account security messages and team invitations are separate and protected by request limits.
The allowance resets at the start of each month in UTC. If it's used up, customer emails pause for that month; your board and roadmap keep working. There are no surprise overage charges. Unsent updates aren't held as a backlog for the next month. Owners can see usage in workspace settings.
A little breathing room between clicks
To catch accidental repeats and spam, each account can make up to these actions in a minute:
- 5 new ideas and 10 replies
- 40 vote changes and 20 email preference changes
- 5 team invitations and 5 billing requests
- 5 logo uploads and 2 workspace exports
Signup, sign-in code, and password reset requests are limited to 3 per minute per requester, with extra protections for sign-in and MFA. If you reach a limit, give it a minute and try again.
Enough detail to be helpful
Idea titles allow 120 characters, descriptions 5,000, replies 3,000, and welcome messages 300. Logos can be PNG, JPG, or WebP files up to 2 MB; we resize them for a quick-loading board. One logo is stored per workspace.
There isn't a fixed monthly idea allowance. Fair use still applies: Heedlane is for customer feedback, rather than bulk mailing, mass posting, scraping, or general file storage. If you expect unusually large volumes, talk to us so we can help.
If your workspace needs a pause
An ended trial or inactive plan pauses new ideas, votes, replies, and status changes. Existing content is readable during the 90-day retention window. We'll email the owner when it pauses and before removal. You have at least seven days after the final reminder is delivered to renew or export your ideas. Your account and other workspaces aren't removed with a paused board.
A question about any of this? Let's talk it through.
